Puppy the Alsatian
Sensation
This memorial is to my best friend, Puppy Arootanoff.
I first met Puppy in 1990, he was about four years
old, and I was a young pup. The first time I met him, I was a little
intimidated by his size and manner. However, we were soon good friends and I
learned a lot from him, like how to work my alpha for the things I wanted to do,
for extra goodies, and many other K9 things.
I do not think that there ever has been a
more magnificent example of a German Shepard. He was a K9 of great character,
wit and heroism, and he was my friend. When he went to K9 nirvana, his loss left
a hole in my life, the pain of loss that will never go away. I was not the only
member of my pack that was hurt when Puppy went to K9 nirvana, my alpha was very
hurt, as well as the other member of my pack, we all remember and miss
Puppy. I know that
someday I will met him again in K9 nirvana.
Our packed grieved when Puppy left,
we also grieved for his alpha. Puppy’s alpha, was so lost that
my alpha worried for weeks and tried to think of ways he
might be able to help him. He could not do less because my alpha and Puppy’s
alpha have been friends for 47 years [that’s 336 years in dog years].
Puppy was born in 1986, and he made the
world a better place till the spring of 2000, when he went to K9 nirvana.

I took this Picture when
Puppy and I, and our alpha’s went to San Francisco.
